This simple studio apartment is located in one of Cape Towns most sought after areas. With endless views over the Atlantic Ocean. The world famous 12 Apostles mountain peaks stand tall in the background. The studio is perched above a main house where the owners will be from time to time. There is a completely separate entrance for guests in the studio. There is a small kitchenette/fridge unit with a hot pate. Microwave. A/C, Uncapped WIFI. Smart TV(Netflix/Youtube only). Small garden/table area.

We have installed solar panels so are not effected by load shedding. During load shedding everything will work except for the stove/oven.
This studio has a unique location. Located in the exclusive neighbourhood of Bakoven in Camps Bay. The beaches are a few minutes away. Beta Beach and Bakoven Beaches are amongst the locals favourites. Its located in a cul-de-sac.
It is a simple apartment but boasts good value for money for the area.
The studio is above a main house with the quiet owners sometimes being there but completely separate and out your way.
You have a private entrance and small side garden with some loungers to soak up the sun.
Guests have exclusive use of the studio apartment. Guests have a separate side entrance gate. Guests also have use of the small side garden with sun loungers and small table and chairs.
Bakoven’s beach is often overlooked in favour of the more trendy Camps Bay just minutes away, but make no mistake, Bakoven is one of the most sought after suburbs in Cape Town and the views from here are simply spectacular.

Bakoven has been called Camps Bay’s baby sister, but its exclusivity and charming village-like feel that the neighbourhood has managed to maintain has been deliberately kept this way to avoid the constant hustle and bustle of its popular counterpart. On the other hand, if it’s a hub of energy and activity you’re after, then Bakoven’s location, just as you leave Camps Bay en route to Llandudno, is perfect. You’re close to the action but away from the noise when you so choose.

The beach at Bakoven is small and zealously protected by locals, but its natural beauty and the combination of big boulders and white sands make it a superb haven for sundowners, and its little coves protect it from the wind.

You’re only 10 minutes’ away from the V&A Waterfront and the city centre here, and yet if you’re staying on the beach side of Victoria Road with its attractive seaside bungalows, you could be mistaken for assuming that you were miles from a city.
You can hire a car, or Use Uber. The Myciti bus stop is 400m away. Fulham road Bakoven stop.

This apartment has hotel quality linens and is self-catering.

This is a self catering unit, but we do provide the basics (tea, coffee, milk, sugar). We have hotel quality linens. Stays of 8 nights or longer will receive complimentary changeovers.

We experience intermittent load shedding (power cuts) in all areas around South Africa and this unfortunately is out of our control, however it is not constant and is announced over social media and Eskom Se Push App which is very handy to download to have on hand in order to plan.
Housekeeping in the unit is done on a weekly basis for stays of 8 days or more.
