Large outdoor patio, braai and dining areas as well as a tranquil, french-style herb & vegetable garden. Designed with style to cater for a large group. . Conveniently located, close to all areas of Cape Town, yet away from the crowds.
Our recently renovated home was built by Tinus de Jongh (a well-known South African Artist) in 1927, It is full of light and modern functionality whilst still retaining a hint of old world charm. It is a North facing property which means plenty of sunbathing opportunities on the pool beds. The bedrooms are large, high ceilings, all with stunning views, 2 bedrooms are en-suite and 3 bedrooms share a large double shower/ bathroom and separate toilet. Extra guest loo. We have 2 lounges and an open plan entertainment room with pool table, tennis table, lounge and playstation. WIFI throughout the house. When you want to be together there's loads of communal spaces. But if you want privacy - then you'll find it. Separate scullery, large open plan, fully equipped kitchen & dining area, superbly set up for entertaining. Surround sound music system. 3 indoor fireplaces. Garage parking for 2 cars and secure parking inside the property for 3 more cars.
Completely private access to the entire house, with its private pedestrian entrance and driveway entrance both operated by key pads and or remote control.
Rondebosch is a friendly, family neighbourhood, where people look out for each other. There is a park 200m away from the house and the bottom gate of the property leads onto a private school field which can be exclusively used by 4 houses only. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance. Cavendish square Shopping Mall is 1 km from the house as well as many restaurants, bars and clubs. Newlands rugby and cricket stadiums are 500m from our front door.
You can access all Cape Town has to offer by private car or Uber taxis which are plentiful.
