MANCHE

Pas de Calais (62)

Gay beach of Sables d'Opale - Berck-sur-Mer
The only beach with fine sand in the region, the beach of Berck-sur-Mer is also the only one that accepts naturists. Meet in the dunes after swimming, and you'll meet someone, whether it's just a friend, a one-night stand, or a summer lover.
Access: from Berck, follow "Nature Plage" to "Le Terminus".

Seine Maritime (76)

Gay beach of Antifer - Etretat
Surely one of the most beautiful beaches in Normandy, with its view of the Pointes de la Courtines and du Fourquet. The low tide lets us discover the sandbanks which precede the pebbles. Naturism area on the left side of the beach (unofficially accepted by the municipality).
Access: 30 minutes walk from the parking lot, which closes the rue de la Mer.

Gay beach of Port l'Ailly - Varengeville-sur-Mer
Wedged between the sea and the cliffs, the small beach of Port l'Ailly is the ideal place to meet gays. The gay section is on the left side of the beach.
Access: go to the parking lot of the place called "Les Communes" and then walk 15 minutes along the beach to reach the gay area.

Calvados (14)

Gay beach of the Vaches Noires - Villiers-sur-Mer
Its unromantic name comes from the heavy black rocks that roll down from the top of the cliff that overlooks the beach. It is located between Cabourg and Deauville, a beautiful Norman beach of sand and rocks. Perfect to isolate yourself.
Access: walk 5 minutes on the left side of the beach to the cliffs.

Ille et Vilaine (35)

Gay beach of Le Verger - Cancale
Verger beach, also called Guimorais beach, is frequented by the gays of Ille-et-Vilaine who wish to find a quiet and preserved place. Located between Cancale and St Malo, the place offers two well-sheltered creeks on the right.
Access: cross the whole beach on the right; the gay and naturist part is at the end.

 

 

ATLANTIQUE

Côtes d'Armor (22)

Gay beach of Beg-Léguer - Lannion
Beg-Léguer is a rare gay and naturist beach in the department, located in a cove under a lighthouse. Fine sand and coolness are waiting for the visitors who like to meet with guys.
Access: After parking near the lighthouse, follow the path that goes down through the dunes.

Lourtuais Beach - Erquy
The wild gay beach is directly linked to dozens of creeks; its left side is reserved for an exclusively gay public. And cruising is not an option...
Access: follow the path after the parking lot of Aire du Cap.

Finistère (29)

Gay beach of Trézien - Plouarzel
The fine sand beach of Trézien is located in an idyllic setting with a view of the islands of Molène and Ouessant. Naturism is of setting there for those who enjoy bathing in the nude. 
Access: at low tide, take the path that goes down to the beach after the parking lot.

Gay beach of Tronoan - Tréguennec
Located a few kilometers from Quimper, the gay beach of Tronoan (or Tronoën) stretches between two blockhouses on the Atlantic. Straight and gay people mix but without any real problem; some walkers even pass on the beach.
Access: follow the D156 to the beach parking lot

Morbihan (56)

Gay beach of Plouharnel - Quiberon peninsula
The "Tata Beach" is located at the entrance of the peninsula, on the right. The dunes and their occupants are waiting for you!
Access: take the direction of Guerite le Bogo and at the parking lot, walk on the left.

Loire Atlantique (44)

Gay beach of La Raitrie - Pornic
This beach near Nantes is made up of a multitude of small creeks. Clearwater and fine sand welcome Nantes residents and gay tourists for an afternoon or evening.
Access: follow the hamlet of La Ratifie and take the coast road after the parking lot.

Gay beach of Jaunaies - Pornichet
This superb naturist beach located north of Saint Nazaire has a gay section, with caves that are very welcoming at low tide for those who want to shelter from prying eyes.
Access: go to the lighthouse of Grand Carpentier and take the stairs which lead to the beach.

Vendée (85)

Gay beach of Sauveterre - Olonne-sur-Mer
A long sandy beach is offered to the visitors of the Vendé, bordered by dunes and a pine forest with winding paths. The gay corner is located at the extreme right of the beach.
Access: go towards the campsite la Loubine and follow the coastline to reach the beach.

Gay beach of Aiguillon - La Faute-sur-Mer
Naturism is allowed on this large sandy beach preceded by dunes. Located at the end of the Pointe d'Arçay, it offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and the national nature reserve of the Bay of Aiguillon.
Access: Enter via Plage des Amourettes, then turn to the left towards the Pointe d'Arçay.

Charente Maritime (17)

Gay beach of Petites Folies - Ile de Ré
Two gay naturist areas are located one kilometer at each end of this beach on the island of Ré. Moreover, the place is sheltered from the wind thanks to the dunes, and the water at low tide remains imprisoned and is, therefore, relatively warm.
Access: Take the rue des Anneries to the beach, then go to one of the two naturist sides.

Gay beach of Saumonards - Ile d'Oléron
The Saumonards beach is one of the wildest on the coast thanks to the forest of the same name which precedes it. 500 meters of sand are dedicated to gay naturism. Small plus: the famous Fort Boyard is visible from the coast.
Access: go to the forest parking lot, then follow the path along the dune for 10 minutes.

Gironde (33)

Gay beach of Le Porge (Jenny)- Le Porge
"Tata Beach"! This place is one of the favorite destinations of the Bordeaux gays, who are very present on weekends. This beautiful sandy beach is bordered by dunes and pine forests. The beach extends over several kilometers, and the entire area on the left is reserved for naturism.
Access: follow the road to Jenny in Le Porge

Landes (40)

Gay beach of Casernes - Seignosses
A naturist part is present on this long beach in the north of Seignosses. Its distance from the city center makes its aspect even more wild and intimate.
Access: follow the sign "Les Casernes" and take the path on the right for 500 meters at the parking lot.

Pyrénées Atlantiques (64)

Gay beach in the Atlantic Pyrenees (64) : Plage des Cent Marches in Bidart
Fine sandy cove at the foot of a cliff, very narrow and even difficult to access at high tide. Dredging in the small paths leading to the beach.
Access: between the beaches of Pavillon Royal and Errete-Gia.

Les Deux-Jumeaux gay beach - Hendaye
This beach located on the Spanish border has a part reserved for naturism. Its name comes from the two vertical rocks that stand in the water where the gays of the area meet.
Access: parking close to the beach at the end of rue d'Amatonde.

MEDITERRANEAN

Eastern Pyrenees (66)

South gay beach - Torreilles
The beach extends over several hundred meters, and a nude part is on the right. On the right is a very nice view of the mountains that plunge into the sea.
Access: follow the signs after the intersection between Barcarès and Canet.

Gay beach of Bocal de Tech - Elne
The large beach of Elne runs along the sea for about 700 meters, the right half of which is reserved for naturism. Unobstructed view of the Cap Béart point of Argelès-Sur-Mer. Dredging at the back of the beach, day and night.
Access: follow the road to the Bocal de Tech until the parking of the same name. Beach straight ahead.

Hérault (34)

Gay beach of Aresquiers - Vic-la-Gardiole
The beautiful long sandy beach lined with groves has become a protected area. It is one of the most isolated beaches on the coast, and... it's a drag behind the beach!
Access: Cross the bridge of the natural dike; the beach is facing it.

Gay beach of Grand Travers - La Grande Motte
The Grand Travers beach, between Carnon and La Grande Motte, is a beautiful sandy beach, long and narrow, a bit wild. The gays meet on the other side of the road to extend the bathing in the dunes.
Access: Follow the avenue de Carnon, from Carnon or la Grande Motte, and park at parking lot N°70.

Gard (30)

Gay beach of Espiguette - Le Grau-du-Roi
A full kilometer of sand for the famous naughty beach of Grau-du-Roi. An exceptional and beautiful site where it is good to meet southerners looking for vacationers.
Access: after the last parking (paid parking), turn left on the beach and walk 15 minutes; gays are after naturists.

Bouches du Rhône (13)

Mont-Rose gay beach - Marseille
One of the oldest gay beaches in the south of France. And the summer rendezvous of Marseille's bad boys. Pebbles and rocks border the sea, a small forest allows you to isolate yourself in the heights.
Access: follow the avenue de la Madrague de Montredon; the beach is below.

Calanques de Sugiton - Cassis
A gay pebble beach in an idyllic setting that has to be earned: it will take you 45 minutes to reach this little piece of gay and naturist paradise. One of the most difficult places to reach but also one of the most impressive.
Access: follow the GR98 down to the seaside.

Var (83)

Gay beach of Jonquet - La Seyne-sur-Mer
This naturist beach is surrounded by a pine forest and overlooks the "two brothers" rock which stands in the middle of the sea. A setting worthy of the Calanques with a view of Cap Sicié.
Access: go to the Notre-Dame-du-Mai traffic circle, then take the coastal path.

Alpes Maritimes (06)

Gay beach of Saint-Laurent - Eze
A large cove of fine sand hidden from view, the beach of Saint-Laurent also offers a natural clear water source. Small coves on the sides allow two or more people to meet. Wait for the young man who will come in a zodiac around 4:00 pm to offer you refreshments. He is always helpful...
Access: park on the Avenue Raymond Poincaré parking lot and walk down the path to the beach.

Plages gay de la Batterie - Cannes
This is the only beach in Cannes where naturism is allowed. Three different sectors offer fine sand, small creeks, and a view of the bay of Juan les Pins.
Access: the stairs that go down to the beach are in the middle of the boulevard du Maréchal Juin, next to a gas station.

Corsica (2A - 2B)

Ricanto gay beach - Ajaccio
Despite its proximity to Ajaccio airport, this is the largest and quietest beach in the city. The naturist area is located on the left, after the airport.
Access : Campo Dell Oro road.

DOM TOM

Guadeloupe (971)

Gay beach of Tarare Cove - Saint-François
Mostly naturist, this white sand beach is a small corner of paradise which has a gay corner very famous among the locals. You may have the opportunity to meet some nice people, especially at night, near the parking.
Access: take the direction of Pointe des Châteaux.

Reunion Island (974)

Souris-Chaude gay beach - Trois-Bassins
Mostly a naturist and gay beach despite the ban. There is a hooking-up place near the rocks during the day, but more on the parking lot at night. One avoids tempting sharks by approaching the ocean... There have been deadly shark encounters in the past.
Access: take the exit on the RN1 and go towards the parking lot.

Tahiti

Gay beach of Taravao.
Located near the port, this beach is bordered by a forest for more tranquility. Gay cruising is mostly in the evening, and it is not uncommon to come across a few soldiers looking for a little continental company...
Access: Near the large esplanade next to the port of Taravao.
