This retreat boasts the best amenities to make everyone’s stay comfortable and unique including use of your own outdoor jacuzzi hot tub on a private deck overlooking the Belgrade Stream. The treehouse boasts a loft bedroom with a Queen sized bed and the best views, as well as a studio open concept living space below with a floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything that you will need to create anything your heart desires! The kitchenette has a whimsical copper stovetop hood, a deep farmhouse style sink and the cutest dining table. The studio space contains a chic couch in front of the fireplace which conveniently converts to another bed. It also houses another queen sized bed with luxurious linens and equally as impressive views. The bathroom completes this space with a floor to ceiling stone shower with glass door and, as an added unique touch, also includes an exposed pine tree in the corner of the bathroom. Constantly surrounded by the beautiful outdoors, this space is a natural retreat all about the setting in nature and just as importantly, an aesthetic gem. There is an air conditioning and heating unit within the treehouse and also has boundless double French doors onto the picturesque deck to bring in limitless breeze and wind from the surrounding outdoors. The Belgrade Lakes are in the heart of the Kennebec Valley Region, which includes a chain of seven lakes and ponds. Messalonskee Lake covers 3,510 acres with a depth of 113 feet. Best known for largemouth bass, northern pike, and landlocked salmon. In the Belgrade Lakes Region, visitors enjoy the beauty of Maine, charming downtown Belgrade, award-winning dining, shopping, and fishing for landlocked salmon, Brook Trout, Northern Pike, and Large and Smallmouth Bass. Additionally, ice fishing is allowed in the ponds in the Belgrade Lakes. Each lake has special regulations. Be sure to consult the Open Water & Ice Fishing Laws & Rules for specifics. The Belgrade Lakes are located just a few miles from Interstate 95 in the Augusta/Waterville area.
** Getting Around:**
Guests have direct access to the stream, perfect for kayaking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boarding—just steps from the treehouse.
MoonLight and SkyView treehouses are nestled right next to one another. During your stay there is a high possibility that you may have a wonderful family or couple right next door to you.
There is a pontoon boat available for rent on site between the months of May to October. It is on a first come first serve basis. You can message us at any time for availability or reservations.
It’s available in a half day intervals at $399 per half day plus gasoline (8-12/ 2-6).
The Pontoon Boat is 22 feet in length with passenger capacity up to 10 persons. It is fully equipped with safety gear including Life jackets, Throw device, Boarding ladder, First Aid kit and Fire Extinguisher.
We will gives you a complete rundown on operation of the boat before you leave including safety features, places to see and places to go and not to go on the Lake.
There is a $195 pet fee. Please be kind and let us know beforehand if you plan to bring your pet. Pets are always welcome as we know first hand that they are a part of a family unit!
While visiting, we do ask that pets refrain from using the bathroom on the back yard. This is a place that all guests have access to and we want to make sure that the landscape stays the best that it can be!
We also ask that our guests always pick up after their pets both indoors and outdoors. This includes keeping pets off the furniture as well.
