Located a two minute walk from the Belmont el station, this room sleeps two, on a queen size bed. Furnished with nightstand, dresser, TV. Guests share a bathroom wth one other room down the hall. This room is on the second floor. Wifi, continental breakfast, and $10 off at the neighboring Trader Todd's given to all guest (wed-sun). All check in is self checkin. Guest must provide ID, credit card and signature to check in.
This room is on the second floor of a historic Chicago Graystone, fully licensed B&B. The building dates back to 1901 and our guests rooms and common spaces are furnished with antiques and Chicago memorabilia.
In addition to the room, guests have access to the first floor sitting room and lobby. Kitchen is only available from 8am-10am for breakfast.
Located just four blocks from Wrigley Field and steps from the Belmont "El" stop, the Old Chicago Inn is convenient to the Loop, Museum Campus, shopping on Michigan Ave, and everything the City of Chicago has to offer. Live theatre, music, and a wide variety of dining experiences and vibrant nightlife can be found just steps away in Chicago's Lakeview Neighborhood. Local favorites for dining include Hutch, Mia Francesca's, Sheffields, Trader Todd's, Cheesies
We are steps to Belmont "El" stop on the Brown, Red and Purple train lines. From there you can travel to both airports, Oak Park, Hyde Park (with bus transfer) and as far north as Evanston. There are dozens of therters, watering holes and restaurants within walking distance. Taxi service as well as Lyft and Uber services are most plentiful in our neighbohood - it is rare to wait longer than 5 minutes for a hired ride or hailed taxi. We also have two major car rental companies just down the street from our location.
If arriving by car, please note, we provide parking permits at check in for the surrounding area, details will be provided after booking. This is city street parking, so don't expect it to be easy. Spothero and The Vic parking garage are paid options.
There will not be access to a refrigerator, microwave.
