Step into the upper level's inviting open-concept living space, where a king-sized bed and a queen-sized bed offer comfort and relaxation, each with its own nightstand for added convenience. The modern kitchenette is equipped with a gas stove top, microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig coffee maker, perfect for preparing meals. Share a meal at the dining table set for four, or unwind in the two lounge chairs while watching your favorite shows on the 65-inch smart Roku TV with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and other streaming channels. The upper level also features a gas fireplace, creating a cozy ambiance on cold winter nights, and a heat pump with an AC unit for your comfort on very hot evenings.

Private grill, seating on your on deck as well as gas fire pit and seating right outside the front door! Shared access to dock, kayak, paddle boats, swimming, fishing and rope swing.
The Belgrade Lakes are in the heart of the Kennebec Valley Region, which includes a chain of seven lakes and ponds. Messalonskee Lake covers 3,510 acres with a depth of 113 feet. Best known for largemouth bass, northern pike, and landlocked salmon. In the Belgrade Lakes Region, visitors enjoy the beauty of Maine, charming downtown Belgrade, award-winning dining, shopping, and fishing for landlocked salmon, Brook Trout, Northern Pike, and Large and Smallmouth Bass. Additionally, ice fishing is allowed in the ponds in the Belgrade Lakes. Each lake has special regulations. Be sure to consult the Open Water & Ice Fishing Laws & Rules for specifics. The Belgrade Lakes are located just a few miles from Interstate 95 in the Augusta/Waterville area.
This Chalet is right on the edges of Belgrade Stream with direct access to Messalonskee Lake. If you plan on bringing a boat, please know there is a public boat landing in Sidney, about 20 minutes away, and docking access to the Sunset Chalet. The Marketplace shopping center is within a 15 minute drive and you will have access to many different department stores such as ********, Sam’s Club, T ******** and a few restaurants. You are also a 10 minute drive from downtown Belgrade where you will find Day’s Store which has everything from sandwiches to small grocery items as well as liquor and other beverages. You can always refer to our guidebook for a complete lists of restaurants as well as other helpful information.
There is a pontoon boat available for rent on site. It is on a first come first serve basis. You can message us at any time for availability or reservations.

It’s available in a half day intervals at $399 per half day plus gasoline (8-12/ 2-6).

The Pontoon Boat is 22 feet in length with passenger capacity up to 10 persons. It is fully equipped with safety gear including Life jackets, Throw device, Boarding ladder, First Aid kit and Fire Extinguisher.

We will gives you a complete rundown on operation of the boat before you leave including safety features, places to see and places to go and not to go on the Lake.

There is a $195 pet fee. Please be kind and let us know beforehand if you plan to bring your pet. Pets are always welcome as we know first hand that they are a part of a family unit!

While visiting, we do ask that pets refrain from using the bathroom on the back yard. This is a place that all guests have access to and we want to make sure that the landscape stays the best that it can be!

We also ask that our guests always pick up after their pets both indoors and outdoors. This includes keeping pets off the furniture as well.

Our Main house on the property has a ring doorbell that does face the driveway. Although this does not interfere with your space directly, we just wanted to let you know that it does face the driveway and you could be seen at some point during your stay on the ring doorbell just as our mail and UPS man can be seen as well!
