Waterfront property located on the shores of Smith's Bay on Lake Ontario, Happiness Haven is a peaceful pet-friendly escape from it all. Just 10 minutes from Picton and minutes to the County's first winery, County Cider Company and Waupoos Marina, there is always something to do. Enjoy the 126 feet of waterfront on Lake Ontario for swimming and boating. The waterfront on this property has easy water access provided by a gentle sloping shoreline. The 30' long dock with a ladder into the water makes exiting the lake after swimming a breeze. Kayaks are complimentary for guests and can be safely launched and docked at this site.
Inside this renovated home find a cozy double-sided fireplace which provides ambiance from both the piano/tv room and the sunroom when the weather turns chilly. The sunroom has 40 feet of windows where one can watch the activities on the bay including kayakers and boaters. The flooring on the main level is made of reclaimed 9" pine boards from 200 year old logs salvaged from the Ottawa River. The three bedrooms on the main floor are super comfortable with Queen beds in each.
On the main level the kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, griddle, coffee maker, slow cooker, kettle, utensils, cookware and dishes. Sit on a bar stool at the kitchen counter and keep the chef company. Off the kitchen you will find a large dining room which seats 10. The patio doors allow for easy access to the large 22' x 10' main floor deck with glass railings and propane BBQ, where outdoor lunches and dinners can be enjoyed.
Downstairs, you will find a large room with separate walk-out entrance and the ability to close off from the rest of the house should you choose. Here you will find two double beds, kitchenette with 2nd fridge (see amenities list for ******** included) and a 3 piece bathroom (toilet, shower, sink). A picture window allows for lots of natural light.

Enjoy a smooth travel experience with self check-in! Full property details and access code will be automatically sent two days prior to your arrival. You will be put in contact with the homeowner, Martin, who will be your point of contact during the stay.

Pet access
Costs associated with damages caused by a pet will be pursued and are not included in the pet fee/cleaning fee. An additional cleaning fee to cover the removal of pet dander from the property will apply.
The whole house and outside including a yard leading to the Lake as well as waterfront access in front of the property is for the guest`s private use. There is a dock by the water where you can launch kayaks or canoes.
The driveway goes past the studio garage to the guest house and is for the exclusive use guests. There is a second driveway used for service which guests are welcome to use. There is also access from Captain's Drive, where guests are welcome to park boat trailers.

We require an ID Verification Form and Rental Agreement Form to be completed prior to check-in on platforms where we are the Merchant of Record.

• This is a waterfront cottage and it can be damp in the lower bedroom if the dehumidifier is not on. The dehumidifier must be running.
