Away in the County is situated on the tranquil shores of East Lake in the village of Cherry Valley. Featured on HGTV, this unique Prince Edward County retreat has been lovingly renovated. The spacious guest rooms have private baths and stunning views of East Lake and the gardens. Guests are encouraged to linger on the expansive marble terrace or meander to the patio by the lake where they may catch sight of a swan gliding by or read a book or from the extensive collection.
Wineries, farm markets, shops, and art galleries are nearby attractions. Away is a mere 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park, 12 minutes to the shopping village of Bloomfield and less than 10 minutes to restaurants, shops and the heritage Regent Theatre in the town of Picton.

The pool is treated (Wednesday through Sunday tbc) and the pool may not be accessed for 4-8 hours. If it is raining, then the pool will be treated on the next non-raining day.

Pets are allowed at this property but must be disclosed. Pets are not allowed on furniture, which includes beds.
• Price: $250+tax for up to 2 dogs per stay.
• Costs associated with damages caused by pets will be pursued and not included in the pet fee.
Waterfront
Enjoy gradual entry into the water. No drop off. It is shallow for a minimum 20 feet, then it gets slowly deeper. Water levels vary year to year. There are reed mats in place as you enter the water. Water shoes recommended. The hosts will stop by to tend to the vegetable garden occasionally. Lawn mowing may be scheduled during your stay.
Please note we can host a maximum of 8 adults and 2 children. Up to two dogs for a flat rate of $250.
