Sitges Gay Beaches

Sun worshippers have plenty of beaches to choose from in gay Sitges. And while the LGBT community are welcome on any of this seaside town’s fabulous beaches, there are three dedicated gay beaches in Sitges that hit the spot. 



Within five minutes from town you’ll find the main gay beach in Sitges, Bassa Rodona. In summer you’ll know you’ve reached it when you spot the hordes of Speedo-clad guys laying towel-to-towel on the sand. Your swimmers definitely have to be stay on at Bassa Rodona, but if you’re more into gay nude beaches, Sites has two options.

Like Bassa Rodona, Playa de las Balmins is also within close proximity of central Sitges. This nude beach attracts straight people as well but has a big gay following, especially with bears and their friends: the vibe at Playa de las Balmins is open, cool and relaxed (but it does get busy!).

If you want to escape the crowds in search of peace and tranquility, it’ll cost you in terms in time and effort. Platja de l'Home Mort and next door Playa del Muerto are two off-the-beaten and very quiet calas (coves) within 45 minutes walking of Sitges center. If this beach gets too boring, there’s always the cruisey forest behind to kill some time.
