Playa Los Muertos: the Puerto Vallarta gay beach

On the southern end of one of the busiest beaches in Puerto Vallarta lies the thatched umbrellas and blue chairs of the Blue Chairs Resort, occupied by gay sunbathers and swimmers. If you couldn’t find it by its blue chairs, the area is marked by a proud pride flag waving in the sea breeze.

The beach has since expanded south to occupy the “Green Chairs” of Ritmos Café and the Mantamar Beach Club, as well as north to the Sapphire Ocean Club.
