Prague pride this saturday

The fourth edition of the Prague Pride Parade will take place this Saturday, August 16 in the historic center of the Czech capital. Participants are invited to gather under the statue of Saint Wnceslas at noon. The walk will begin at 1 am and cross the Příkopy and Revolucni streets. It will also pass through Rásnovka, Dvorakwo nabrezi and cross the Čechův bridge to end at Letna parc.

Organizers expect about 20,000 participants, which seems to be a success, given the fact that this is very recent pride. Prague is a model in terms of LGBT events among the countries of the former communist bloc. The main theme of the Prague Pride is the difference between East and West. No wonder after the recent anti gay laws recently voted in Russia.

At the end of the march the Letna park will host a free music festival organized by the Qcafé and the Club Mecca. Many DJs are expected, including DJ and DJ Ipek Tvyks. The Mecca Club will also host the OMG party, the biggest party of all this gay pride.

The election of Mister Bear CZ will also take place in the evening after the festival. And finally, a night picnic will be held at Lena Park.
