The city of Prague is very interested in gay tourists: it has just published a map of the city that references gay establishments. Visitors will be able to find this leaflet free of charge in tourist information centers, hotels and gay clubs.
The map lists bars, cafes, clubs, hotels, apartments and saunas, excluding all places with a "dubious reputation", according to the director of the tourist office, reported by the Czech Press Agency. It also presents the main attractions of Prague, practical addresses and phone numbers.
The director of the tourist office justifies this choice in a very simple way: "Gays do not usually have children and are very active. They don't spend much on their families, but they have high incomes and can invest a lot in travel and leisure.
In addition to this map, Prague has also launched a "gay" section on its website.
