The Sun Gay in Lyon: between pleasure and conviviality

Thanks to the Sauna le SunGay in Lyon, the capital of Gaul has never worn its nickname so well! The SunGay has become an institution of Lyon's gay life. With its equipment (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi) and its oriental decoration inspired by Hindu art, this place has everything to invite the Lyonnais and the gay tourists passing by to the pleasures and sensuality. We went to meet the people who make this gay establishment live.

Can you introduce yourself?
The SunGay : The SunGay is a gay sauna dedicated to relaxation and hot encounters, located in the heart of the Terreaux district and the City Hall of Lyon. our offbeat decoration offers a Bollywood show. In order to make the moment magical, all the ingredients are gathered so that the relaxation is total and the experience unique. A maze of bewitching rooms like a labyrinth, with a sauna, a jacuzzi, a hammam, a gym and intoxicating evenings that will transport you into a new world, that of pleasure.

What is the history of SunGay Lyon?
SG: We celebrated our 6th anniversary last March. We started as an affiliate of Sun City before becoming a full-fledged establishment in Lyon's gay life.

According to you, what are the main assets of your establishment?
SG : The decoration of the complex, especially that of our main room which includes a huge 40 m2 jacuzzi, and our facilities: sauna hammam and bar area; our dynamic team also but especially the location in the heart of Lyon which offers a place to gather the most beautiful boys of Lyon and its region.

precisely, who comes to the SunGay?
SG: Our clientele is quite varied to tell you the truth, even if it remains the hottest of Lyon's gay saunas.

What are the best times to enjoy your establishment?
SG : All of them! (laughs) It all depends on what you are looking for! Many themes of entertainment are proposed to our customers to decorate the evenings (foam, blackout.) studied with meticulousness (plays of light, music...); it is an atmosphere of dream, the guaranteed euphoria, with the great satisfaction of our customers. SunGay is open from Sunday to Tuesday. The Tuesday clientele is rather young since we offer the entrance to people between 18 and 25 years old.
