Anthony, organizer of the Délice Dream

After having lived the 5 days of madness of the Délice Dream, we decided to collect the impressions of the main person concerned, Anthony, organizer of the event. No time to rest for him either. The week was intense and full of surprises (good and bad). So, after having accomplished his mission this year, in Lloret de Mar, he is already on his way to organize the next edition, whose first information should arrive soon.

What is your assessment of this edition?
Anthony: First of all we were bluffed by the atmosphere of the 3rd edition of DELICE DREAM. The sun was there! And this year, the 2 hotels were next to each other, with 2 superb pools, and nearly 700 boys and girls decided to party!

Happy?
Weare more than satisfied. The number of participants has doubled between 2011 and 2013! We reach a very wide audience, of all ages, from 19 to 51 this year. All origins, with 70% French speakers (from France, Belgium, Switzerland). As for the remaining 30%: English, Italians, Ukrainians, Greeks, Mexicans... All the looks too, from the youngster who discovers gaySpain to the confirmed clubber, including the couple who comes to enjoy the pool and the beach! This mix of origins and styles of boys creates a very friendly and family atmosphere! Everyone talks to everyone from morning to night (early morning!)

What moments will you remember?
First ofall, a personal event, during the welcome cocktail, in front of hundreds of participants, I proposed to Diego, with whom I share my life since 11 years... I had planned a long speech hoping to make people smile and I burst into tears even before the first word! Then dozens and dozens of participants came to congratulate us, it was Wouahhhh....

Another moment, less fun, was the cancellation by the police of the Soho Beach Party. At 30 minutes of the event, whereas all the authorizations had been granted... After the announcement, a large majority of the participants created a group and went to the town hall of Lloret De Mar to shout at the injustice... I am waiting for official letters from them to validate their will to see a big gay festival in their town!

What do you have in store for us next year?
Wewent back to work the day after the stay... Appointments at the town hall of Lloret De Mar, visits of atypical places to make the party... Since 10 days we receive a lot of nice messages with opinions on this or that point! All these mails are really important to prepare DELICE DREAM 4... Two certainties, it will always be in the north of Spain and it will be in May... For the rest, we still need 15 days before unveiling DELICE DREAM 4.
