I live in the micro town (Pop. 400) of Batchelor in the Top End of the NT. I am primary carer for my husband who is in a wheelchair. This role takes a fair amount of my time.
In my self-time I am a mature age contemporary dancer and choreographer working mainly with older bodies. I perform with the Tracks Dance Company and have danced in a number of Darwin Festival shows with Tracks as a volunteer community dancer. I teach dance in my small town and am a peer leader in a local yoga-cum-wellness group.
I am a gardener and try and spend as much time as I can in our large garden (2000 sqm) with its meandering trails.
My travel is very limited by my other commitments but I visit family in Queensland and Victoria and Germany
