GOLD COAST HINTERLAND HOME (you do need a vehicle)
I'm from an arts background, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and have dabbled in the film industry, tried my hand at writing, furniture design, video editing etc. I'm trying to set up a studio at home...but the last 3 years I have been planting lots of natives, grevillias, acacias, gum...regenerating the land...it's a time consuming, lengthy process done in stages. Painting soon!!
I have been living here for 11 years, previously in Sydney and before that grew up in country NSW on a farm with sheep/cattle, crops.
My Beautiful Rural Home is on almost 2 Acres. Private, 5 Bedrooms but 3 used for house guests. Fully equipped home, 12x4 metre salt water pool with very large outdoor deck with barbeque. Only a 11 minute drive from the Pacific highway, 18 mins to the Gold Coast Airport, 15 mins to beaches and 30 minutes to the theme parks. Surrounded by hills, bush, wildlife and many birds. Stunning location!
I currently have 1 easy going housemate who is at work Monday to Friday and sometime doesn't arrive home until 7, 10pm at night. So daytime, any guests would have the home mostly to your-self/selves. It's a quiet easy going, relaxed atmosphere...so if you want noise and more action somewhere in Surfers or Broadbeach might be more your thing.
If I'm free, I'm happy showing people around, or discussing places to visit, just ask!
