Eric is a Professor from Scotland and currently a part-time Professor in Taipei. He has lived in Taipei for nearly 10 years and has a long-term Taiwanese partner. Eric and his bf (Brad) are open-minded, sociable and friendly and appreciate the good things in life. His Chinese is not good but he gets by while Brad is fluent in Chinese,Taiwanese,Hakka ,English and now he is a beginner in both French and Spanish. We have a good friendship network and socialize regularly. Eric loves to cycle and swim in his spare time. Both of us like to go travelling in Europe in the height of summer.Taiwan has many tourist attractions and the cultural life in Taipei is very rich. On the east side of the island Hualien county is strongly recommend as a must-do for its stunning gorges and aboriginal people. The north coast is also congenial for sunbathing and swimming. The historical southern city of Tainan is also a place to explore. Taipei is a very convenient and safe city with an extensive gay community. Travelling around the city is very easy. Food- wise,Taiwan is an adventure and a visit to the night markets is another must and great value. Night life, particularly in Taipei, is also great fun. The gay community is very active in Taipei and embraces people from all over the world. You can be assured of a warm welcome in Taiwan.
