I've lived in Brussels for 20 years and know the city well. My apartment is in a clean, green area on the southeast edge of town, near the Free University of Brussels (ULB) and across the street from the Hippodrome de Boitsfort, Brussels Golf Club and National Forest. It's a big, bright, well equipped penthouse apartment. I have an extra bedroom that I rent out. Parking in the area is free and easy, there's a tram stop in front of my building. There are two light rail stations within easy walking distance that can whisk you to the EU quarter or downtown in just a few minutes.
