My partner (Geoff) and I own and manage several Short term rentals in the Jacksonville area. We are both military brats and with that try to ensure our guests are comfortable and the homes are great for your stay. We enjoy traveling in and out of the US though we haven't done it as much as we'd like. Our most recent big trip was a cruise around Japan in April 2023. Smaller trips within Florida, to Pennsylvania or Black Mountain NC as well. Geoff has a masters in Nuclear Engineering. Kat has a BS in Computer Science. We are outdoorsy and enjoy nature. We kept bees for a while but that turned out to be too much maintenance and our focus is elsewhere. Despite this honey bees are near and dear to our hearts. Kat likes to garden. Geoff like wood working.
The two of us juggle our short term rental communication and maintenance. Kat does the accounting for the business and Geoff does rehab / flips and repairs that we don't hire out. We hire out items like significant plumbing, A/C and electrical though we are pretty handy for many smaller items. We love our guests are are happy to talk it up with any of you, but others prefer privacy so we follow your lead and give you that option.
