Apartment for 4 people in a Farmhouse with a pool

Large farmhouse restored in its entirety. It’s located in a small town in Baix Emporda, Cruïlles. Called “little Tuscany”, the Baix Empordà is a region in the north of Catalonia rich in beauty, food, a unique coastline, and beautiful towns that maintain their charm, such as Cruïlles.
When you enter the apartment, you will see a spacious dining room with a sofa, a central table and access to the outdoor terrace, also with a table to enjoy breakfasts as you enjoy of the good summer temperatures.
From there you can access both the room that has a bunk bed and the room with a double bed. From the double bedroom, you can also access the terrace.
The kitchen, also accessible from the dining room, has everything you need to enjoy your vacation: ceramic hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and Italian coffee maker.

The entire apartment is newly renovated, but what makes it so spectacular is its traditional Catalan architecture characterized by the Catalan turns.

The Mas Xicu garden has a swimming pool, changing rooms with shower, jacuzzi and sauna. Play area for children, room with billiards and table football for the older ones, barbecue area, coffee area, as well as different recreational areas ideal for gatherings on summer afternoons and for the enjoyment of the little ones. It also has a tennis court, soccer court, and basketball hoops.
We give independence to our guests, but we are available if they need us

The apartment is not shared, the rest of the farmhouse amenities (swimming pool, sauna, games room, jacuzzi, barbecue, common dining room and garden).

Around the farmhouse there are many activities that can be done with your family or friends.

Hiking:

Excursion of 30 minutes on foot from our house, very pleasant, and with a beautiful destination such as the town of Monells (the little Peratallada) where you will find a square with few restaurants.

Whether in front of the house, or around it, there are several pleasant paths through the forest for mountain lovers of little difficulty. In November, ideal for mushrooms lovers.

Family excursion to Castell del Montgrí, in Torroella de Montgrí. It is of low difficulty, and ideal to go with the family. only 1 hour on the way to reach the top and enjoy a wonderful view of the Baix Empordà.

Sports:

Mountain or road biking → This area is very common for training road cyclists. Either on curved paths to Cassà de la Selva, or by road to any of the nearby towns... or far away.
There are paths indicated for mountain bike lovers, with different difficulties, for instance going from the apartment to La Bisbal, passing by the edge of the river (simple), or longer routes passing through the Gavarras until reaching Fitor.

If you bring your bicycles, we have an area to store them.

Running → Just go out the door of the house, and you have access to paths to go running in the mountains or in the countryside.

Horse riding → Just 5 minutes from home, there is a horse-riding school for both children and adults. Call before to reserve (Les Feixes)

Beaches and coves:

From large (Playa de Pals), to medium-sized and family-sized (Platja del Castell), urbanized like the beautiful Calella de Palafrugell or Tamariu, nudists like Illa Roja, with stones (Sa Tuna), special ones like Gola del Ter, in Begur... there is something for all tastes just half an hour from home.

Some of the most beautiful coves on the Costa Brava are just 30 minutes by car from the apartment. We recommend visiting them to get to know the region better, especially in the non-tourist season, where you can better appreciate the beauty of the area.

Nearby towns:

The Baix Empordà is rich in small charming towns, such as Peratallada, Púbol, Monells, Begur, Pals, Sant Martí Vell, Ullastret, Palafrugell, Sant Feliu, Calella...

Restaurants:

In our town (Cruïlles) there are 3 restaurants, and there are also nearby La Bisbal D'Empordà, Monells or Sant Sadurní d'Heura. There are also many gastronomic options in any of the towns that are visited, in addition to Palau Sator, Sant Feliu de Boada, or on the coast such as Tamariu, Calella, Begur… Some consider them the most beautiful villages in Spain.
Just 5 minutes by car from the highway entrance, in Gerona and the main national roads that connect with the capital of the region, La Bisbal (just 3 minutes). Since

Mandatory extra expenses to pay / pay to the local service provider depending on the occupation and actual use
- Deposit (hold amount).

Documents to sign/fill in once the reservation is confirmed:
- Rental agreement.
- Declaration of minors (if any).
- Registration to the police website (Organic Law for the Protection of Citizen Security of March 30, 2015).

All these documents will be signed/filled digitally.

Cancellation and collection policy

When making your reservation, you will be charged €3 to check the card and to cover the management costs in case of cancellation. If it is not canceled, these €3 will become part of the total payment of the reservation. If you cancel before 14 days for your registration, you will only be charged the €3 administration costs.
14 days before your registration, you will be charged 50% of the value of the reservation, which will not be refunded (of this first payment) if you cancel between days 14 and 7 before your registration.
7 days before your registration, the remaining 50% of the total value of the reservation will be charged. If you cancel in the period between 7 days and the same day of registration, the total value of the reservation will not be refunded.
