I am a pretty straight forward (huh!) academic guy. Since I am turning 67 this year I have started a phased retirement. Currently no fixed job - and a lot of travel plans. When not working I love travelling, good food, ballroom dancing, rollerblading, swimming and hiking/trekking to mention a few. I have been to around 85 countries and intend to cover the rest more or less.
