Peter Hytte is a modern Saban stone vacation cottage built in 2022 in the Euro style. In its 24 m² (250 ft²) apartment size you'll find a queen Murphy bed, recliner, papasan chair, built in desk, dining table, a private bath, and a kitchenette with all you'll need to make basic meals. It is surrounded by tropical gardens and has its own private terrace adjacent to my other property, Althea Cottage. I live in a separate stone cottage at the rear of the property.
Saba boasts 12 well maintained hiking trails, a few difficult enough that a guide is recommended or even required. Our dive shop, Sea Saba, can take you out for scuba or just snorkeling. There are 26 wall dive sites for scuba enthusiasts. Guests have stayed with me 2+ weeks just to get to do either all the trails or all the dive sites.
Saba has one beach that comes and goes but there is a breakwater protected swimming hole below the airport that is safe. Stay a few days on St Maarten for the beach experience.
There are three gourmet restaurants right in the village and four simpler cafes to choose from. Grocery stores, bank with ATM, bars, an art gallery, museum, and tourist shops with locally made crafts are all within a 3-5 minute walk down the hill. Many people don't even rent a car, they just walk or hitchhike which is perfectly safe here. Compare the town to 1950s Mayfield in the "Leave It to Beaver" era.

Any bar or late night party will be welcoming to gay singles or couples. There is a medical school here with about 250 students from the US and Canada so there is a good mix of North American as well as European, South American, and other Caribbean ethnicities represented in our population. Several businesses are gay owned or employ gay staff.

The hosts took the time to best showcase their accommodation. Their home is now ready for your stay and they look forward to welcoming you as their first misterb&b guest!Check in is usually after 11 AM and check out by 2 PM, however we can be flexible to accommodate your specific arrival and departure times by plane or ferry. We practice water sparing as our main source is rain catchment. We only have cesspits for sewage management, so no paper can be thrown down the toilets.
