You’ll be a guest in our home with a private bedroom equipped with a brand new queen bed fit for a Queen and access to shared space. We are just far enough from downtown for some peace and quiet and close enough to experience all Vancouver has to offer.
The room has:
- a bedside table with lamp.
- chest you can place luggage on
- a window with shades that opens for fresh air
- baseboard heating with your own thermostat
- a pocket door to your own ensuite bathroom with bathtub shower
The shared space:
- includes a well appointed kitchen
- a dinning room
- a living room with gas fireplace
- air conditioning
- a patio with propane fireplace and cushions
- we DO NOT have a TV... shocking I know
Attractions in walking distance:
- 1 minute to Wicked Cafe (great croissants) and Mon Pitout French Bistro/Brunch
- 3 minutes to the seawall for ocean strolls
- 5 minutes to Granville Island with its iconic market and artisanal shops (a Vancouver must see)
- 15 minutes across the Granville bridge to Davie Street, the gay village
- 20 minutes to Kitsilano "Kits" Beach and surrounding neighbourhood with restaurants for any pallet and budget.
Our home has a separate entrance off the street, with underground parking available for an additional $20 a day. We are near 10 different bus routes heading in all directions including downtown, Wreck Beach (clothing optional), East Vancouver/Commercial Drive (lesbian neighbourhood) etc.
There is a nearby Mobi bike stand where you can rent a pick up/drop off bike. Or take the Ferry or Aquabus that hops around False Creek to different museums and oceanside sites.
Vancouver is an incredible city to visit (and an even more incredible city to call home). As relative newcomers to the city we love exploring all the area has to offer and can't wait to share our wisdom about sights to see, the hot spots, queer spaces, outdoor activities and the joie de vivre that is Vancouver life.
We are Jeff and Casey, a gay couple aged 29 and 40 who've been together 8 years now. We lead active lifestyles and you are just as likely to find us climbing a mountain, as dancing in a nightclub, or relaxing at the beach. We are globe trotters who love traveling and have stayed at other hosts MisterBnBs. We are cis-gender white gay men who are queer advocates, trans/non-binary inclusive, and anti-racist, and are happy to invite you into our home.
Vancouver is situated on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish Peoples including the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
