There are famous art museums and colleges nearby and a theater club and artisan crafted gifts. And of course, “liquid Gold” or as we call it, Pure Vermont Maple Syrup that is sometimes served at breakfast. We are also unique in this area as we actually serve breakfast to our guests giving you the feeling of a real old fashioned Vermont Inn.
We have some of the best hiking trails in Bennington and surrounding towns. From short trails to The Long Trail in the Green Mountain Range. Some of the trails are shorter walks and some are more arduous. There are some lakes and even a nude beach about a half hour away open from the end of May to the end of September. Free Parking and a beautiful hike from there to the nude beach. There is a large area where men and women hang out together, and then go a little further through the woods and it becomes mostly men sunning themselves and along the trail into the woods it is really a place to cruise for men and some private areas for a little man on man action. (Warning, other men may stop by and wish to join in.)
With our large driveway and off street parking, it is easy to get in and out to see all the attractions and fine dining. Enjoy a glass of wine in the bar/lounge and then the homey comforts of our beds and Roku TV’s.
