Two-room apartment with fully equipped kitchen, TV, streaming services (Netflix, Prime, Disney, Discovery, etc.), air conditioning, bright and quiet, the living area has a comfortable sofa and the sleeping area has a very comfortable bed. A small, decidedly quaint bathroom completes the apartment's amenities.
Like most buildings in the old city, the apartment does not have an elevator. It is located on the 5th floor 90 steps from the street entrance, but the effort to reach it will be rewarded by the comfort and quietness of this beautiful little apartment.
In the very heart of the historic center, this apartment enjoys all the comforts of a modern home, located on the very central Via San Luca. Just a few meters from the city's most beautiful museums, and a few minutes walk from the most important city attractions. About 200 meters from the ancient port and the aquarium, very convenient to the cruise and ferry terminal. Only here can you experience the real life of the Genoese alleys.
The apartment was renovated in 2023, has air conditioning, soundproof windows, wifi fiber optic internet, induction cooktop, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, espresso machine, kettle, microwave combo oven.
The living and sleeping area is equipped with smart TV with the most important streaming services enabled, and a good selection of international channels (German, French, English) and the various international versions of PLUTO TV services.
The apartment is located in the medieval area of the city, in a historic building from the 1600s. Located on the fifth floor ( 90 steps ) and as in most buildings in the area, an elevator is not available.
Personal advice is to reach the city by train, plane or bus. If you arrive by car, it should be considered that the entire historic center of Genoa is pedestrian, so you cannot drive under the house. I have entered into an agreement with a public parking lot located in the immediate vicinity, at a maximum cost of € 21.00 per day.

If you arrive by Plane, a shuttle service called Volabus is available, which will take you directly to the city center in a few minutes. The stop to book is at Piazza De Ferrari / Via XX Settembre. From there, a pleasant walk through the alleys will take you to the apartment in just 10 minutes.
On the other hand, if you decide to arrive in Genoa by car, keep in mind that there is no access to the historic center, as it is a pedestrian zone. There is no free street parking except on Sundays and holidays.
There is an affiliated Silos parking lot in the immediate vicinity, which allows parking at a maximum price of € ******** h

DISHWASHER DETERGENT IS LOCATED UNDER THE SINK. I SUGGEST USING THE ZOOM PROGRAM (SELECT IT BY PRESSING THE "P" KEY REPEATEDLY). PRESS THE START BUTTON AND CLOSE THE DISHWASHER DOOR.
TO USE THE INDUCTION COOKTOP, PRESS THE POWER BUTTON WITH YOUR FINGERTIP, PRESS THE DESIRED ZONE BUTTON, SET THE DESIRED POWER LEVEL. TO CHANGE THE POWER LEVEL, PRESS THE RELEVANT ZONE BUTTON AGAIN AND SET THE NEW POWER LEVEL. THE HOB WORKS ONLY WITH PROPERLY POSITIONED COOKWARE SUITABLE FOR INDUCTION.
IF YOU WISH TO USE THE WASHING MACHINE, USE ONLY THE DETERGENT IN CAPSULES FOUND IN THE DRAWER TO THE LEFT OF THE WASHING MACHINE.
AIR CONDITIONING (SUMMER USE): THE AIR CONDITIONER INSTALLED HAS A VERY HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY CLASS (A+++) AND USES THE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY GAS R32, HOWEVER, IN A LOGIC OF ECO-SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOR, IT WOULD BE ADVISABLE, BEFORE LEAVING THE HOUSE, TO TURN OFF THE AIR CONDITIONER. SINCE THE ROOM IS SMALL, A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE CAN BE ACHIEVED IN A FEW MINUTES. THE IDEAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE, TO ACHIEVE PERFECT COMFORT, WOULD BE ABOUT 2°-3° LOWER THAN THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE. MY ADVICE IS TO SET THE MACHINES TO AN OPERATING TEMPERATURE OF 25° , IT IS A VERY COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE AND ALLOWS YOU TO KEEP THE AIR AT AN OPTIMAL HUMIDITY LEVEL.
HOT WATER IS PRODUCED BY AN ELECTRIC BOILER WITH A DOUBLE TANK TOTALING 80 LITERS. THIS AMOUNT OF WATER IS ENOUGH TO TAKE 2-3 CONSECUTIVE SHOWERS. IF TEPID WATER SHOULD SUDDENLY COME OUT, IT MEANS THAT THE RESERVOIR HAS RUN OUT AND IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO WAIT 20-30 MINUTES FOR THE WATER TO RETURN TO TEMPERATURE AGAIN.
