Brandon's Beach Escape is a cute, three bedroom house with three queen size beds, 200m from Tallows Beach. You can usually hear the waves from your bed at night.
It's perfectly located half way between arguably the world's most stunning, gay beach - Kings Beach, near Broken Head - and the lively restaurants and bars of downtown Byron Bay (7-10 mins away by car or Uber). There is a bus service into Byron Bay town, but not to Kings beach.
Suffolk Park village it's self has a few lovely, hidden restaurants and cafes and a fab little supermarket for preparing feasts in the well equipped kitchen at home. The main surf beach of Suffolk Park (Tallows Beach) one street away from the house is great for an early morning jog in paradise, or incredible Australian night sky star gazing on a blanket with a bottle of wine and friends or that someone special you met at Kings Beach during the day.
There is a dog friendly part of Tallows beach, so bring your furry friend if she/he is clean, quiet, well behaved and fully grown up.
The best time to visit is "off peak".
Spring and Autumn (early March to June and August to mid November) is the best beach weather in Byron Bay. Avoid the last week of November until the end of April if you don't like tourists. Winter (Late June to Early August) can be lovely and cool at night but warm enough to sun your buns on the beach some days (The house is cosy with the slow combustion stove, and there is often nice sunshine for reading and walks along the beach) - I would definitely consider a longer term discount for someone who wants to spend the winter in the house. The humid season lasts from Mid to late November until Early March. Whales migrate past the coast and are most spectacular from July to October.
Fly in to Ballina (20 mins away), Gold Coast, (40 mins away), or Brisbane (2 hrs away).
Its easy to hire a car an any of these airports.
Greyhound and other Bus companies service Byron Bay.
Check out the Greyhound Australia website.
The area is serviced by Taxis and Uber.
A local bus stop that takes you into Byron Bay down town is only 130 meters away from the house. See the timetable at Blanchs bus company website.
However you have a supermarket and all the basics as well as four great places to eat right in Suffolk it's self.

It's all about the gay beach, Kings Beach, (popular with nudists) which is through the rainforest on Seven Mile Beach Road (gravel road) near Broken Head Caravan Park (alternatively walk south along the coastal path from Broken Head Caravan Park- the longer way). Never park illegally in the area as parking inspectors are very active, even in remote car-parks - just wait a few minutes for a spot, or get there early. Kings beach is best from lunchtime onwards as you can generally find shade under a tree. A warm evening just before it gets dark is the most beautiful time to be there.
It's also all about the food, coffee and wine of the surrounding villages and Byron Bay. Get on line to explore the local gourmet scene. Suffolk Park it's self has some great food places tucked away. Go on line to find them.
There are great bush walks and waterfalls in the wild hinterland. A walk up Mt Warning where the sun first hits the Australian Mainland on New Year's Day is well worth the climb. (Leave early so your back by dark).
Visit the bohemian communities in the hills. Watch the whales from the lighthouse.
There are a lot of masseurs and Yoga studio's in the area to take care of those aches and pains and make your holiday complete. Check them out online.

Show respect to me, my house, my things and my neighbors. Quiet after 9:30 pm please. This includes your pets. Neighbors get up and go to work, even on weekend as we are just outside the touristy part of Byron Bay.
I like to keep the neighbors happy, so please be friendly and polite to them.
Pets must not venture past the lounge room and never be in the bedrooms or on the couches or other furniture. Please ensure they are clean and bring everything you need for them (I supply nothing in the pet department), and please clean up after them at home and when you take them to the dog section of Tallows Beach around the corner from the house. Dogs must NEVER EVER be taken to Kings Beach as it is in a State Park and has a lot of beautiful wildlife.
Keep the neighborhood neat and tidy. Do as the locals do and bring back more rubbish from the beach than you produced there. We have amazing beaches and the devoted locals keep them clean. If you see a cigarette butt or a bottle, take it home and put it in the bins supplied behind the garage.
Only park outside the house. Never annoy the neighbors by parking on their nature strips.
Please don't move the furniture around.
Wash sand off with the tap behind the house, not the shower inside the house.
Do not attempt to open the owners locked cupboards (seriously, cleaning products and linen are not that interesting)
Deposit will be retained if neighbors complain about noise, offensive language or behavior, your parking or driving issues.
6 people to stay overnight only. No more than 6 extra visitors. All extra visitors must leave quietly.
Leave the place tidy, clean the bbq, put out the rubish. I hate having to leave a bad review. I'm a nice and a fair guy, but I like to keep my holiday house nice and my neighbors happy. I will have no hesitation in keeping your deposit if you break these rules. Thanks (-:
