Cathedral View is an open plan 1 bedroom apartment with lovely period details, most notably its original vaulted ceiling and a stunning stained glass partition wall which divides the sleeping area. There is dedicated parking outside the door and an eat-in kitchen with integrated appliances including washer/dryer.
The UK king size 5" bed has a new orthopaedic inner-sprung mattress with down and goose feather pillows and duvet inner - with synthetic fibre available on request to accommodate any allergies. Bed linen is all high thread count Egyptian Cotton and there is a quirky mix of antique and contemporary furniture.
The brand new classic tiled shower room has oodles of character. Luxury hand wash and body wash/shampoo are provided along with a hair dryer. Egyptian cotton bath sheets and hand towels are thick and fluffy.
There is a cosy wood burning stove which adds to the romance of this character filled, peaceful space - the perfect get away!
Small well behaved dogs allowed for a £50 stay fee..
The sofa has a mattress quality pad suitable for an adult good nights sleep and can be made up for an additional fee.

In the unlikely event of a fire this apartment is suitable for people with mobility issues as there are no limitations on it's layout and emergency egress.

The verdant Wye Valley marks the border between England and Wales, punctuated by Offa's Dyke and features some of the most stunning countryside to be found in both. There is much to explore and a myriad of activities including kayaking, paddle boarding, rock climbing, golfing and the many hiking and cycling trails the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean are famous for.
There are even underground caves to explore in nearby Clearwell, a sculpture trail and for the more adventurous "Go Ape" activity centre! Tintern Abbey and Raglan Castle are both wonderful ruins to visit only a twenty minute drive away. Kath Humble's "Humble By Nature" is close by too and full of marvellous things to do with interesting courses and it's "Pig & Apple" burger restaurant.
Newland is a tiny village known as "The Chelsea Of The Forest". It is nestled into the hills and has fantastic access to eateries ranging from it's own "The Ostrich" pub less than a 5 minute stroll away, to "Tudor Farmhouse" and "Farmer's Arms" both an hours ramble up Rookery Lane in Clearwell, to the Michelin starred "Whitebrook Inn" a well rewarded 20 minute drive across the Wye.
One of the many forest trails adjacent to Newland ends up in Redbrook and you can walk across the old railway bridge in Wales and charming "The Boat Inn" pub. Shop for provisions at the many great local independent shops, supermarkets and the marvellous "Forest Deli" in Coleford only 5 minutes drive away, or the vibrant market town of Monmouth just a little further. The "Village Shop" at Brockweir is well worth a visit with a great selection of local supplies and you can enjoy refreshments in it's terrace cafe.......

The hosts took the time to best showcase their accommodation. Their home is now ready for your stay and they look forward to welcoming you as their first misterb&b guest!This is a quite and peaceful area and the apartments which situated to to rear of our home are adjacent to each other. We have done our best to sound proof but cannot guarantee 100% quiet. We encourage guests to have a great time here but in a respectful manner so as not to disturb other guests. It is not suitable for "parties"!
