Our house is in Coombs (near Parksville), BC, close to the famous (locally!) tourist destination "Goats on the Roof".
Enjoy comfortable private bedrooms in our 4-bedroom house. The rooms each have a closet, a comfy bed, and large windows offering natural light. You have your own bathroom with bath/shower, basin and toilet. The open kitchen, living space, and gardens are great for getting to know our guests. We love to cook and eat together, and we can play games, or just relax.

The location is off the main highway, and very easy to get to. You would need a car (we have lots of parking). It is a great place from which to take day trips to west to Tofino & Cathedral Grove, south to Victoria north to beautiful wilderness, or east to many of the fabulous islands (Hornby is a favourite!). Visit the many lakes, mountains, & river hikes.
You can also get to Vancouver as a foot passenger using the new all-electric Hullo ferry service, or by float plane via Harbour Air, or you can drive there using BC Ferries.

Vancouver Island and Vancouver city are welcoming, safe places for our community. If you want LGBTQ+ venues, you'll need to visit Vancouver. On Vancouver Island, the natural beauty is the reason to be there. Gorgeous ocean, lakes, and forests are within easy reach (with a car). Recommend heading up to Telegraph Cove to do the grizzly bear tour, or to Campbell River for whale watching. Cathedral Grove is an awe inspiring spot for huge trees, and Cowichan, Cameron and Sproat Lakes are really beautiful for that true BC lake experience. Hornby Island is a fun trip and boasts warm water swimming and a clothing optional beach. Gabriola and Saltspring Islands are fab islands to visit too.
