Xico is a small town and we have been made to feel welcome. There are no "gay spots" to speak of but the town is accepting. Several restaurants are nearby including Meson de Xiqueno with upscale cuisine and cocktails, La Molienda with riverside seating and regional cuisine, and La Glorietta with on street seating serving cocktails and local cuisine. Several museums spotlighting local heritage include Museo del Danzante Xiqueno, Museo del Vestido de Santa Maria Magalena, and Sala Taurina de Xico. Local attractions include Cascada de Texolo, and Cascada de Monja.
