AVAYA ROOM overlooks the characteristic and lively Via Plebiscito, in the beating heart of Catania's historic center.
The apartment is within walking distance of the city's main streets, places of interest and the Greek-Roman and Baroque art-historical route of Catania.

Within a maximum radius of just one and a half kilometers one can in fact visit:
Piazza Federico di Svevia, home to the city's largest museum inside the majestic Ursino Castle; Palazzo Biscari; the main Via Etnea with Piazza Duomo and the cathedral; the ancient Achillian baths; Piazza Università; Piazza Stesicoro with its Roman amphitheater; the ancient baths of the Rotunda; the Roman Odeon and the Greco-Roman theater; the Benedictine Monastery; UNESCO World Heritage Via dei Crociferi; the Massimo V. Bellini; the city park of Villa Bellini.

Also, a few meters away is the local market with fruits and vegetables and the Pescheria, the characteristic fish market, in front of the Villa Pacini park. Finally, you can easily reach (3 km) the Plaia, the sandy seaside coast with equipped lidos.

Just below the house and in the immediate vicinity, the neighborhood offers all kinds of services: typical stores, tobacconists, pharmacies, grocery stores, various street food offerings, pizzerias, typical restaurants and, above all, pub bars and clubs of the Catania movida open until late at night.
The area is well connected to the main transportation services: the apartment is a 10-minute walk from the bus station in Piazza Borsellino (for visiting the Catanese hinterland, Mount Etna, moving around Sicily); about a 20-minute walk from the train station and port; and 4 km from Fontanarossa airport. The advice for visiting the center, however, remains to move around on foot so as not to miss a single glimpse of Catania.

The apartment does not have private parking.
The Alcalà Square bus station is a 6-minute walk away, and offers interregional, regional and local routes (stops Airport, Lungomare Battiato, Aci castello, Lidi Playa, etc...).
The advice is to move around on foot, however, to visit the Old Town and fully experience the evening nightlife.
