Welcome to the heart of Tuscany. Podere Villole was built in 1606 as an estate from the ruins of a former castello (Podere = estate). For more than 350 years, the estate was a productive farm with the mixed cultivation of olives, wine and cereals that was common at the time. When I found the house in 1998, surrounded by 35 hectares of woods, it was love at first sight. In the years before that, the house was mostly uninhabited and threatened to slowly fall into disrepair. Since then, I have given it new life and restored its original grandeur - combined with the comforts of today and preserving the historic substance. Podere Villole is located in the heart of Tuscany, in the triangle formed by the cultural cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, overlooking the Arno Valley on the first hills of Chianti. From there, your view sweeps unobstructed to the east, north and west over the Tuscan countryside. Enjoy the peace and quiet, recharge your batteries for everyday life, go hiking or visit the nearby cultural monuments. And look forward to the highlights of Tuscan cuisine and wine cellars.
