An old woman gave this house to her young granddaughter and her boyfriend to form their own dwelling. A romantic end, due to the fact that this young maiden and her lover escaped the wrath of their families, who did not want absolutely become a couple.

This house is part of Albergo Diffuso EcoBelmonte, a project for the protection and revival of the historical center of Belmonte Calabro. It was like many other a semi-ruined house and has been renovated according to the best green building practices, respecting the environment today, preserving and defending it for the sole benefit of those who will live tomorrow.
Only here is it possible to spend a holiday pampered by the sea, sun, good food and the warm and typical welcome of the people of the south; a few minutes from the sea (with comfortable walk or by car), in a wonderful medieval Calabrian village, in direct contact with the locals, with view on the beautiful Tyrrhenian sea.
