The closest, within a few minutes' drive, are San Lorenzo and Santo Stefano al mare where there are beautiful sandy public beaches. Inland you can enjoy the charm of the ancient Ligurian villages perched on the heights such as Dolceacqua, Apricale, Dolcedo. Prominent among these is Bussana Vecchia, reachable in a few minutes by car, which has become a village of artists and artisans where you can experience a bohemian atmosphere.
