I am 54 years old and British. I lived and worked in London most of my life but when I was 44 I decided to change my life and go and live in Brazil.
It took me a few years to work out what to do here in Salvador, Bahia but I ended up opening and running a Guest House, Pousada in Portuguese.
I have callled the Pousada, Casa Inglesa Boutique Guest House and I have 8 rooms to rent. The Pousada opened on 1st January 2014. The House has been refurbished to a high standard with all rooms having a private bathroom, TV with Netflix, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar and safe.
I am really enjoying the new challenge of owning and running a business here in Brazil. It is not easy, but when has life ever meant to be easy. I am learning something new every day and I hope you will come and visit Jasper (my little West Highland Terrier) one day and experience the culture and delights of Salvador, Bahia.
