I'm a single gay man who has lived in Oakland for about 25 years, and have owned my home here for the last 15. I've been employed full-time as a contract technical writer since 1997.
My line of work allows me to work from home. I raised my two sons here in Oakland, and they are now grown and moved out. I'm taking advantage of my "empty nest" to explore some different parts of the country and the world.
As a parent and homeowner, I'm responsible, clean, and quiet. My favorite "hobbies" are reading and walks.
