my name is Volkan, I'm 31 and a teacher in Berlin.
I am quite new to the city and still exploring the vibrant atmosphere of it.
Before my teaching job at a high school, I worked for a non-profit that focuses on the empowerment of queers of color, ensuring safer spaces and trying to create community spaces for us. I like being political and would say I am more radical than liberal :)
I would say I’m relaxed, addicted to coffee (iced obvi), you will hear me listening to gay pop often or read something, when I feel relaxed :) I have a deep interest in social (in)justices and political/activist movements.
I like to be outside in good company! I am competitive when it comes to board games and lose my temper easily (that’s the volcano in me lol), and usually binge watch a tv show that I like (most tv shows on hbo max). Oh, and I would never say no to a fun karaoke night at a queer bar :)
