Hi Guys!
Despite appearances I'm very Scottish - I've a strong accent, am a kilt wearer, and I've been known to enjoy a wee deep fried Mars Bar and an Irn Bru!!
After 35 years spent in Retail, Design and Sales I'm now happily semi-retired in Central Edinburgh - Leith - in my much loved home of well over 20 years. I'm a very creative fella, working from my home studio mostly in glass and handcrafts, a keen amateur photographer and dabbler in Interior Design.
I'm passionate about Edinburgh and its environs, a passion I delight in sharing. I enjoy long city walks, our free Galleries and Museums, local hostelries, fabulous local beaches and hidden attractions.... all that comes with being a 'local in the know'! I also enjoy a good cosy evening in company with the feet up and a decent fruity bottle o Red!!
I'm looking forward to getting back to a bit o European travel soon, long haul later, but never tire of local delights that cry out to be shared and enjoyed!
