Eagle's Nest Retreat is perched on 33 acres of private bushland on the eastern side of Mt Banca and has spectacular views of the Stanthorpe township & surrounds. The Retreat is fully self contained with reverse cycle air conditioning throughout, a fireplace and a wide covered verandah which runs the full length of the cottage. The cottage can be booked for the 2 bedroom rate. A one (1) bedroom rate is available from the local property manager, Granite Belt Property Management Stanthorpe. A one (1) bedroom rate excludes access to the 2nd bedroom. The cottage features 2 spacious, 20 sq. metre bedrooms, each opening out to verandah, with queen size beds, electric blankets, and remote control blinds with blockout curtains. Ensuite in each bedroom, one bedroom with shower over bath overlooking surrounding bushland, the 2nd bedroom has facilities for disabled guests. Inviting open plan living and dining with well positioned fireplace and opening out to verandah. TV and entertainment system with DVD/CD collections. Fully equipped kitchen with all necessities including oven, microwave, water filter and coffee machine. Undercover carport and gas BBQ provided on verandah. Included also is a complimentary local bottle of wine, crackers, tea/coffee making facilities (with long life milk and sugar satchets), locally made soaps, all linen and firewood. Access to the property is via a 600m long driveway which is steep in places. The steeper sections have been concreted and are equipped with guide posts and reflectors to enable ease of access to the cottage both day and night. Eagle's Nest holiday home is within 4 minutes drive of Stanthorpe township, offering local shops, cafes and supermarkets, and 5 minutes drive from Stanthorpe Golf Course. Accommodation is not available for children under 14 years old. Accommodation (Bed 2 & ensuite) is equipped for disabled guests however it is recommended that a carer accompany a disabled person.
