Perched 15 feet above the forest floor, the treehouse offers a private, intimate space to relax and be immersed in nature. We're located 1hr from Nashville and 15min from downtown Cookeville, TN providing guests with easy access to local attractions while staying in a serene forest hideaway.
The treehouse, crafted by the Amish, boasts an eclectic style that seamlessly weaves together elements from various eras, creating a captivating tapestry of history.
As you step inside through the front door dated back to 1848 and encounter the 100-year-old stained glass window, thoughtfully repurposed in the bathroom, you'll be delighted to unravel the many fascinating stories behind these unique pieces.
Designed with your utmost comfort in mind, the treehouse offers an array of delightful amenities. Sink into the luxury mattress for a restful night's sleep, or luxuriate in the cast iron claw-foot tub, spacious enough for two! The treehouse is located less than fifteen minutes to downtown Cookeville which features great restaurants, breweries, and boutiques. The treehouse is less than a ten minute drive to Cummins Falls State Park and is only twenty minutes to Burgess Falls State Park.
Our driveway is gravel with enough parking for two vehicles. If you are pulling a boat or a camper please reach out in advance.
NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES - Any evidence of smoking in the treehouse will result in a $250 fine.
CHECK-IN - You will receive check-in instructions prior to your stay; our standard check-in time is 4PM. We do offer early check-in at 2PM for an additional $50 in addition to accommodating bag drop-offs when available.
CHECK-OUT - Our standard check-out time is 10AM and we do not require you to do chores prior to check-out.
EXCESSIVELY DIRTY UNITS - If the property is left in a condition far worse than a typical stay, then an additional cleaning fee may be assessed. Please treat the property with respect and keep in mind that you will be held responsible for any damage caused to the property.
RULES - If not following any of these rules forces us to refund or offer a discount to an upcoming guest, then you may be held responsible for those charges.
