THE SKINNY: This absolutely adorable new construction studio apartment is situated in the treasured heart of uptown St. Augustine, just 75 steps from the beautiful Matanzas Bay waterway! Watch the sunrise over the ocean in the distance, see boats go by in the waterway right in front of you and observe fisherman trying their luck! The apartment itself is nearby The Fort, Historic Downtown and some amazing locally owned restaurants, attractions and shops like Borrillo's Pizza, Duddington's Boutique, Sunday Restaurant, Juniper Market, Uptown Swinery, Ink and Barley and Carrera Wine Cellar to name a few. The antiquing in uptown is by far the best in St. Augustine. All of the above is just steps from the front door of the apartment! The property is a short distance to downtown St. Augustine, the Fountain of Youth, The Great Cross and Vilano Beach (where there is a conveniently located Publix grocery store). With all of this to enjoy, you will have no choice but to allow yourself to fully escape into vacation mode. The bright and open floor plan creates a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy a smart TV for nights in. The small but mighty kitchen is truly stocked to allow you to cook with ease despite not having a stove/oven. We have provided every appliance instead, including induction burners, air fryer, toaster oven, blender, Keurig, etc. Relax inside or outside, grab some beach gear and head to the sand, cool off in the outdoor shower, take a stroll in the park across the street or walk into historic downtown St. Augustine for a day of active group fun. Enjoy your coffee in the shade or a drink in the sun!
THE PROXIMITY: Most of my favorite local hot spots in this part of town are within a walk from the front door! To name a few: Juniper Market (you may actually catch me here working during the day), Sunday the Restaurant, Alms and Fare, Anchor Boutique, Cool and Collected, Declaration and Co and Carrera Wine Cellar. The list goes on, and you're just a stones throw from the very heart of downtown St. Augustine. To the south of St. Aug is a highly popular area of Palm Coast, with nearby Marineland, a great place to indulge in outdoor fun as well as golf at The Hammock and the drop dead gorgeous preserve of Washington Oaks State Park, a must-visit! This home is also drive-able within 35 minutes north to the best parts of prime Ponte Vedra for golf and shopping! San Marco Ave and US1 are our main commercial corridors for this home, equipped with shopping, groceries and restaurants of all kinds. This home is about 8 minutes from Publix grocery store.
THE SPACE: This very cute studio apartment home sleeps 2 in 1 Queen bed. There is a pack n play for an infant/toddler to come along as well, however the space is not child-proofed. The kitchen is equipped to cook together for a great night in! The TV is a Roku smart TV, so simply login to your Netflix, Hulu or HBO account to enjoy your favorite movies and shows. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/tub combo for your ease and the unit even has a stackable washer/dryer as well as iron, ironing board, laundry basket and luggage racks. Linens and towels are provided.

PARKING: There is one off street parking space in our driveway. Please try to avoid parking on the street as it is reserved for full time residents. The garage is not accessible to guests.
LAUNDRY: We offer a set of washer and dryer. We provide starter laundry pods + dryer sheets, iron and ironing board and some cleaning supplies for your convenience.
HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE: Just a short drive south is historic downtown St. Augustine! Take a tour, enjoy the rich Spanish history, the architecture, the food and craft cocktails and all that our pleasant waterfront town has to offer. BEACHSIDE FUN IN THE SUN: Our beaches are unparalleled! We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine. This home is situated 8 minutes to Vilano Beach where you can park your car at any of the beach parking lots and walk on. You can also drive to one of the public beach accesses in Crescent or St. Augustine Beach to drive on.
TURN IT UP: Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations.
LAUNDRY SERVICE: We have laundry machines in the house but on vacation, it's up to you if you want to do laundry at all! If you would like to partake, our brand new commercial laundromat The Queen's Laundry is offering pick up and drop off wash-dry-fold service to the St. Augustine area. The cost is per pound and they will work out payment with you directly. They simply ask for 1 day's advanced notice for a pickup request and a 24 hour turnaround time for completing and returning your laundry. Ask us for more information!
SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $49. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $500 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). * IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements.
This home does not offer access to the garage. It doesn't have a dishwasher.
