This studio was renovated in early 2021 and tastefully decorated, making it one of Be My Guest’s hottest properties!
The studio is complete with a king-sized bed, full kitchen and all the amenities you may need, smart TV, Wi-Fi, BBQ, picnic table and large windows to relax while enjoying the majestic views of Lake Taupō. The barbecue is offered 'as is', as it is not a part of our cleaner's schedule. Please ensure you clean it after use so it can be used by the next guest.
We are advertising the studio to accommodate up to four guests. There is only one king bed, but any additional guests can use the pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. Note: this is more suitable for children, particularly as the lounge and bedroom are open plan.
Double glazing, and a heat pump/aircon will ensure you keep warm in winter and cool in summer.
There is a carport next to the unit and, on the street, a parking space for your boat - and a boat ramp at the end of the road!
The studio is the downstairs unit of a larger house, but completely independent. During your stay there might be guests staying upstairs. We have found guests very respectful of the neighbouring properties, but before booking with us, we want you to be aware that there is always the risk of noise. The owners are looking into a permanent solution, but total sound proofing may not be resolved by the time of your booking.
There is a carport next to the house. There is a car permanently parked on the left of the carport . The other space is offered to both upstairs and downstairs guests on a 'first come - first served basis. You are also welcome to park behind the owner's car. To allow space for any guests upstairs, please only park one car on site. Additional cars can be parked on the street.

The property is in a very quiet street in Acacia Bay, tucked away at the end of a shared driveway. It is 4.5km from the Taupō town centre and the nearest supermarket (Countdown).
The studio is within walking distance of a dairy and The Bay Bar & Brasserie, where you can enjoy a meal and drink at the end of your activities. It is also a quick drive from the famous L'Arte Cafe Gallery and Taupō’s town centre.
When booking, please advise how many beds you require, and we will prepare that quantity for you. A highchair and baby cot may be available. Please enquire (bedding for the cot is not provided). Breakfast items are not provided but there is plenty of tea, coffee and basic cooking necessities such as salt, pepper and oil.
For the sake of our neighbours, noise must be kept indoors and to a minimum after 10pm. There are strict no parties, smoking or pets rules in all Be My Guest properties.
If you are booking this property on a platform other than ********, an authorisation hold is required. This hold will be captured as a ‘preauthorisation of funds’ from your payment card, prior to arrival and will be auto released two days from check-out, so long as no damage or costs have been incurred. The 'hold' for this property is $250.
All Be My Guest linen comes from our professional linen supplier. It is thermally disinfected at temperatures high enough to eliminate germs and risks such as Covid-19. In order to keep linen costs for your stay economical, we do not provide face cloths.
