Old school Surf Vibes. Incredible views and casually comfortable interiors. The type of home you can immediately relax in. Fynbos mountains surround you whilst the endless blue ocean sparkles below. The living space is open-plan and flows out to a patio of incredible views shaded by an ancient Milkwood tree. The garden below offers a viewing deck and second outdoor dining area. Settle into lazy days on the deck or walk down to the beach. Hiking or mountain bike directly from the front door.
Double Story House.
Upper level houses three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The open-plan living space, with kitchen island and large Dining Table, flow onto a wrap around patio with unsurpassed views. The Kitchen has a separate scullery and a back courtyard for hanging wetsuits and towels out to dry. TV, Wifi, work space and indoor fireplace, as well as an outdoor barbecue and lots of relaxing spaces to unwind.
The downstairs level of the house is comprised of an en-suite studio and a one-bedroomed apartment (both ensuite), sharing the same garden (with outdoor shower and fire pit), viewing deck and outdoor dining area.
Exclusive use of the entire property.
Only 18 km from the centre of Cape Town and approached by one of the most scenic drives lies Llandudno, nestled in a private and peaceful cove with one of the most secluded and beautiful beaches in the city.
Llandudno might be an upmarket suburb, but its residents regard it as something of a coastal town and the suburb has no street lights or shops of any kind. This is reinforced by the fact that Llandudno is accessed by only one road and there is minimal parking for visitors to the beach.
The Twelve Apostles stretch off to one side, whilst Little Lion’s Head and the Karbonkelberg Mountain sweep off in the other direction. The beautiful beach, renowned for its white sands, crisp blue waters and giant boulders is arguably one of the most photogenic in Cape Town and a favourite for surfing, volleyball, beach-bats and beach rugby; a great deal of sun-worshipping and a preferred picnic spot for families. The beach remains unspoiled with a mountain range stretching off in both directions, largely untouched. A 20 minute walk from Sunset Rocks brings one to Sandy Bay, the famous nude beach, and a five minute drive takes you over the hill to the village of Hout Bay, where there are plenty of restaurants, shopping centres and other options for the whole family. Ten minutes in the opposite direction brings you to the Camps Bay beach strip where a myriad of restaurants and beach bars are waiting to be discovered.
Best Option is to rent a car. Uber is available, however sometimes erratic. No Public transport in the area.
There are no balustrades on a number of 1st floor decks, so we do not recommend this for small children.
