This beautifully designed, luxury hillside home has been ingeniously built around the ruins of a 18th century building in Centro. It sits on a garden lot with two terrace spaces. The large airy central living/dining area has a double-height brick boveda ceiling with a skylight and fireplace. There are 3 bedrooms, each a master suite with its own bathroom. The private rooftop terrace has an outdoor kitchen and overlooks the city. The house is a 5-minute walk to San Miguel’s historic center.
The staircase to the rooftop deck has a retractable glass ceiling and opens onto a huge terrace. There are extraordinary views of the historic Centro area in San Miguel de Allende, as well as miles wide sunset views of the surrounding countryside. Newly renovated rooftop featuring a rooftop kitchen with grill, refrigerator and sink. The adjoining terrace has built-in benches surrounding a fire feature to keep you warm during the cool evenings. Added plants and fruit trees to the roof allow for a warm, intimate feeling while giving your fresh limes for your rooftop margaritas (when in season).
Exquisitely decorated, within walking distance of San Miguel’s many shops, markets and restaurants, this home is a special luxury find in San Miguel de Allende.
Guests will be greeted in person unless otherwise specified. You will be given a key to the space upon arrival. You will have access to the entire house. Private accommodations for you and your guests.
Casa Garita is on the famous calle De La Garita, just a few blocks from the town center allowing for amazing views of the city and exquisite sunsets. It is walking distance (5 minutes) to the best restaurant, nightlife, museums and entertainment.
Convenience is at your fingertips, with taxis and Uber just minutes away, ready to transport you to stores, restaurants, cathedrals, art galleries, and more. Taxis are only $80 MXN pesos. They are easy to find, just hold your hand up to grab a green taxi.
We also offer a private car service for trips in or around the city (price depends on destination), and we offer private airport transportation for $900 MXN per person (2 person minimum) for transport to and from the airport. Contact us for a car service.
We will provide one full tank to be used; if additional is needed, it will be with an extra cost.
We have a local team of professionals who provide a personalized concierge service to all of our guests. We can help coordinate airport transportation, grocery delivery, maid service, private chef or cooking service, or local experiences such as wine tastings, horseback riding, hot air balloons, cultural tours, and more. Plus, we have a full-time maintenance team if anything goes wrong during your stay.
