40 km from Montpellier, 50 km from Nîmes, the gay beach of Espiguette is one of the largest gay gatherings in the south of France. The beach of Espiguette is located in the heart of one of the most beautiful sites of the Mediterranean coast between sky and earth, sand dunes and pine forests, lagoons and vineyards. It is a beautiful beach of golden sand with isolated sand dunes and groves. In the summer it is lively, offering many opportunities for gay encounters. But this has a cost : traffic jams ! During the season, associations fighting against AIDS carry out prevention activities directly in the pine forest.
How to get to the Espiguette beach: At the last parking lot (paying) on the beach facing the sea, turn left and walk 15 minutes until you reach a riprap that juts into the sea (about the 7th dike). The gays are after the naturalists and alternate between the beach and the dunes. Bring water.
Espiguette beach is a gay cruising spot in Le Grau-du-Roi, France.
