The Lays beach is just south of Barre de Monts, between the intersection leading to the bridges of Noirmoutier and Notre Dame de Monts. The naturist area is just south of the Lays parking lot, on the left side of the beach. The beach is totally virgin, no equipment and can be very small at high tide. In the sand dunes, there are many cells where you can sunbathe naked, blocking the wind and the view. To reach the beach, you have to take the forest track that crosses the forest of Pays de Monts on several kilometers from the D38. In season, parking is difficult.
