La Batterie beach is the naturist and gay beach of Cannes. Located at the entrance of Cannes from Golf Juan (or towards Anties) this small beach of the commune of Vallauris is managed by a local naturist club member of the French League of naturism. Small parking behind the gas station, you can take the footbridge under the railing from the parking. The homosexuals gather at the end of the beach especially on the western side on the rocky part of the point and in the surrounding reeds. Very crowded and quite difficult to access. Bring something to drink and a picnic.
