Gay Cannes

Cannes, so chic! Cannes is a benchmark for large ceremonies where actors, filmmakers, models, singers and other personalities use to scroll for a day. Cannes, city of all pleasures. With its famous Croisette, the harbor and its large bay, Cannes is perfect seaside resort : casino, luxurious hotels, great beaches, gorumet restaurants and trendy clubs for wild parties.

Strictly speaking, Cannes has no gay village. Gay and gay-friendly places are spread throughout the city. There is certainly the Rue du Suquet which concentrates several venues but Cannes, although it is visited by a largely gay population during fashion shows or film festivals, is no gay destination as it used to be. The city no longer has a Gay Pride since 2000 and it seems hard to bring Cannes gay atmosphere back to life. Definitely a place to visit.

Cannes is anyway a very beautiful and picturesque town with southern charm : narrow passages, stone staircases, pedestrian streets and a pleasant climate offer a high quality of life.
