Europe has many things to be proud of: high speed trains, plenty of culture, and the Sagrada Familia just to name a few. But along with this, Europe is also home to loads of misterb&b hosts who have proven over time to provide a fantastic accommodation experience for gay travelers wanting to explore the world and experience their pride. To help you choose your next host for your gaycation on the continent, we’ve created the misterb&b awards of 2018. Using misterb&b data, we’ve aggregated the number of host bookings, guest reviews, and average rating to bring you the top-rated hosts in Europe for 2018. From Paris to Berlin, which host will you be staying with next?
Lars - Berlin
Taking home gold for 2018 is Berlin-based host, Lars. He proudly claims that his private room will “sweeten your stay in Berlin”, and from the photos we’ve seen, the reviews we’ve read, and the data we’ve sourced, we couldn’t agree more! For 2018, Lars secured an excellent average rating of 4.96, along with a healthy number of bookings - nice job! His elegant private room is equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, candy-striped lounges, and a Sonos speaker from which you can stream all your favorite tunes. And about Lars? Well he teaches Fashion Design at a local University, so he certainly knows a thing or two about style.

Woulter & John - Amsterdam
Our silver medal for the misterb&b awards goes to Amsterdam-based hosts, Wouter and John. Wouter is a ceramic artist, and John is a local bar owner, and together they make superb hosts. After all, they received a fantastic average rating of 4.95. But it’s not just the boys who will be making you feel at home, there’s also their resident cat, Tommy, who apparently enjoys morning cuddles! Nestled in the heart of lively Amsterdam, their eclectic apartment offers guests a private room equipped with a French balcony. Along with this, you can look forward to a fully-equipped mini-bar, luxury bedding, and cable TV - score!

Dali - Amsterdam
We have to say we’re pretty impressed with our selection of Amsterdam hosts, as Dali is our second finalist from the canal capital. He’s taking home bronze for the year thanks to a solid number of bookings, and an average rating of 4.89. Dali’s apartment performed so well thanks to its central location, and bright, modern aesthetic. We’re talking high ceilings, large windows, and a dreamy bathroom. Even though Dali’s apartment building was entirely renovated in 2012, the building was discovered to be a city monument. Make history with a stay here, and enjoy Amsterdam like a gay local!

While Gold, Silver, and Bronze may have already been taken for 2018, we thought we’d also share a group of misterb&b hosts in Europe who still made our top list for the year, and deserve an honorary mention.
