Whether it's Boston's gay bars or clubs, you'll have to walk or take a cab if you want to do them. The places are scattered all over the city. However, most of them can be found at the south end of Tremont Street.
This area is known for being Boston's gay neighborhood. Whether you like gay neighborhoods or not, the place is fun to walk around. You'll discover some wonderful little stores. Although this area has changed a lot in the last few years, it is still nice to walk around.
The area has seen a rise in rent prices and many bars and stores have closed or relocated elsewhere.
The state where Boston is located, Massachusetts, was the first in the United States to legalize same-sex marriage. Boston is one of the most politically progressive and socially liberal cities in the country.

As everywhere in the United States, it is in the month of June that Gay Pride is celebrated. The Boston Pride Festival parade is held in the middle of June. Compared to Europe, it is a Sunday that people march in the streets to celebrate diversity.
Located an hour and a half drive from downtown Boston, the town of Provincetown is the most gay-friendly town on the East Coast of the United States. It's an equally charming place to discover.
