There are still 2 days left (until June 30th included) to register if you want to take part in one of the 32 organized sports competitions and win one of the medals at stake! As for all those who will come to support their favorite teams or sportsmen, they can already book their evenings among the 8 evenings of the official program or one of the events of the week (election of Mr. Gay World, world championship of dance, etc.). Gay World, same-sex dance world championship or one of the guided tours offered by the organizers)
The opening ceremony will take place on August 3, on a large esplanade on the banks of the Scheldt called Waagnatie. All competing athletes will march behind the flags of their respective nations, while the competitions will start the next day.
One of the highlights of the World OutGames will be the international conference on human rights from August 31 to August 2. Also not to be missed is the Eurovision@Woga song contest, open to all volunteers, the gay choir festival and the election of Mister Gay World on August 4, with our favorite French candidate, Armando, among the 32 contestants.
The competitions will end on August 10, followed by the closing ceremony and the official closing party, Supergays, whose headliner will be Loreen, the Swedish singer, winner of the Eurovision in 2012 with her hit Euphoria
August 10 is also the date chosen for the Antwerp Gay Pride, as the final event of the event. Thousands of athletes, spectators and participants will parade through the streets of Antwerp before gathering outdoors for the Wave Festival, the gay festival of Antwerp, where Boy George will perform.
